The Chemical Imaging System HELIOS was specially designed for the recycling of plastic bottles. Since 2007 HELIOS is working accurate in numerous installations worldwide. Of course the systems have been further developed so that our chemical imaging systems belong to the fastest and most accurate sensor systems for sorting plastic flakes and granulated material. Within an EU promoted development project the HELIOS chemical imaging sensor systems have been further developed for sorting paper. Since autumn 2010 the pilot installation is working proper in all-out operation.
